![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() That thread is an absolute gem that SCS hopefully is taking into consideration if there's ever a rework of the truck garage system. That nails this and all other threads like it, SQUARE on the Yeah. Ideally 1.47 would have a lot to offer, but realistically, it could be pretty small, so I wouldn't get too hyped up about big improvements.Īll of that would be a very solid improvement.īut what you said last (that I put in bold). As usual, we're just treating a speculation thread like a wishlist. I don't see any reason to believe that all this would come with 1.47, though. And of course, we should be able to keep any accessory we've purchased and be able to change them out in personal garages oversize load banners and flags should be kept on the truck itself, and there should be a way to add and remove them while parked. Now that I think about it, maybe paint jobs should be limited too, either at appropriate dealerships or dedicated paint garages. We should also be able to get cabin accesories only at truck stops, since you aren't going to be buying pillows and cheeseburgers at the repair shop. At a repair shop you should be able to customize your paint job, tires/rims, mirrors, bullbars, etc., little (though useful) attachments like those, as well as engine/transmission changes, while chassis/cabin changes and branded parts (like the company hubcaps) should be available only at the appropriate dealerships. It'd also be neat if customization was improved. I'm thinking we should be able to repair, say, up to 10-15% damage at personal garages to simulate basic maintenance anything more than that would have to be done at a repair shop or dealership. engine update is going to pull off.ĭon't forget about the ability to do maintenance at garages. In the June 2018 stream, Pavel acknowledged seasons as knowing its something he knows he'll have to do. That brings enough of the North to get seasons implemented. That is 2/3's of the US completed by then. 5 years from now, I think SCS could fill in everything West of the Mississippi I bet. ![]() In 3-5 years, imagine how much more map would be covered in ATS. But I bet people of Spintire games would now perhaps give SCS games a shot if they haven't already. If SCS can cover the top 3 most requested wants within the next 3-5 years, I think this would put SCS in a serious position to compete with even Mudrunner/Snowrunner in terms of pure enjoyment for a bigger audience. viewtopic.php?t=312650.ĭirt is part of getting a better weather system and weather is somewhat tied into seasons which is the top spot followed by Multi drop. Per the this poll of those that vote, dirt is still holding on 3rd place most wanted features. This simple and minor add to the game is a ton of work for the devs I bet but its another thing that can can keep players engaged and continuing to play. If one doesn't work, hold it on the update. I totally agree that dirt must be a part of truck washes when they come. I don't see why such a minor detail would be considered as violence. I'm not sure if mosquitos and bugs is PEG 3 approved. No deep mud or muds splashing everywhere So puddles of water/mud and mud accumulation along with dirt from dry conditions, environmental situations like bird droppings, mosquitos and bug could work. We need about 10-15% of mud situations they have. We don't need anything remotely close to Mudrunner/Snowrunner but we do need the filtering system they have. We do get rain in the game and rain brings mud. Mud is a must for logging, farms, mining, wind farms, oil site and quarries. I think SCS needs to go beyond just dirt though. Another immersin thing but then we need dirt to still remain on the windshield for the area the wipers can't clean. That also means that now we must have fluid for cleaning too implemented on all trucks. Accumulation on the windshield is a definite must have. ![]()
